Joseph “Bud” Perrigo

January 22, 1939 – April 25, 2009

Bud Perrigo left us too soon at 70 years of age, of congestive heart disease. He passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Marcella and two daughters, Denise and Melody.Bud was a direct decendant of the Perrigo family who owned the first trading post in Redmond, Washington. He was born in Kirkland and attended Lake Washington High School. At 16 he joined the Navy. Bud was an involved Kirkland Eagle Club member for over 30 years. He retired from King County after 27 years of public service in flood control. Bud loved camping, telling stories, bonfires, ribeye steaks and his family. He touched many lives with his generous and loving heart. He will be missed.
