Jerry was born in Seattle, WA on November 20, 1944 to Leonard and Zelda Haddock. He joined a sister Lorna. He lived in Bellevue and graduated from Bellevue High School in 1964. Jerry enrolled in Edison Tech were he earned his degree as a diesel mechanic. He followed this trade for the next 40 years.
Jerry married Christine Rosenthal in 1966. They were blessed with three children, Amy, Matthew and Ryan. They have seven grand kids from 4 to 24 years of age and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was an avid motorcyclist enjoying many road trips on his 1969 Electro Glide Harley Davidson. He was also a member of the Tyee Triumph Club were he drove his 1980 TR7.
He spent 35 years as an off ice official for the Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey Team, where in March 2017 he was acknowledged and honored by the team for his service during one of their games.
After a long battle with COPD, Jerry passed peacefully on May 14, 2017 at his home with his wife, granddaughter Hailey and her friend Rey. Jerry was a great husband, dad, grandfather and friend. Such a kind and gentle man.
Jerry was always the first there to lend a hand. He will be missed by many. Breathe Free, Dearest Jerry.
