The Kirkland Middle School (KiMS) Builders Club held its annual car wash with members of the Kirkland Kiwanis Club on May 13 to raise money for the school’s legacy project.
Each year, members of the outgoing class select a “legacy project,” a project by which future classes will remember them. The project this year is to rebuild a bench around a tree in the front of the school. The bench has been there since the original school was built.
The club raised a total of $585 for the legacy project.
