Wednesday, Aug. 23
Driving While License Suspended/No-Contact Order Violation: A suspect who was driving on 124th Ave. Northeast with a suspended license was stopped in traffic and found to be in the company of a male suspect whom she had a protection order with. The man was arrested for the protection order violation and the driver was cited then released.
Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act: A subject was contacted and smelled like marijuana on the 12400 block of Northeast 132nd St. The subject was younger than 21 and placed under arrest. Police found 29.9 grams of marijuana after searching the subject who was later cited and released.
Tuesday, Aug. 22
Vehicle Prowling/Theft: A victim reported a subject who was attempting to break into their car parked on the 10600 block of 126th Ave. Northeast. The subject was scared off but located by officers a couple blocks away. The suspect matched the victim’s description perfectly and admitted to prowling vehicles.
Monday, Aug. 21
Shoplifting: A suspect was arrested after attempting to steal $237 worth of assorted cleaning and makeup items from the Juanita Safeway.
Assault: A suspect was arrested after a fellow Fairfax Hospital patient stated they placed a book into a pillow case and hit the unnamed patient over the head with it. The victim wished to pursue criminal charges.
Thursday, Aug. 17
Hit and Run: A suspect was arrested after hitting a vehicle and fleeing along the Juanita Woodinville Way and other back roads. The victim called 911 and provided the suspects license plate number before the suspect’s mother, who is the registered owner of the car, confirmed that the suspect was driving the car during the hit and run.
