For the third year, the Cross Kirkland Corridor will play host to a musical holiday lights event from 5-6:30 p.m. on Dec. 8.
It will be an evening of caroling, hot cocoa, photo booths, Seattle Seahawks’ Blitz, a llama and the third-annual musical holiday lights on the CKC. The photo booths will be ready starting at 5 p.m. and at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Amy Walen will flip the switch to turn on a show featuring 10,000 LED lights custom-programmed to holiday music by Google Kirkland engineers.
Parking is limited, so those who can are encouraged to take public transportation, bike or walk to the show.
The event is free and attendees are encouraged to bring donations to benefit LifeWire, Attain Housing and The Little Pantry in the form of unwrapped toys, gift cards and non-perishable food or to make a donation to the Kirkland Downtown Association.
The event will be in the family fitness and play area on the CKC near the Google campus, (approximate address is 499 7th Ave. S.
