EvergreenHealth recently welcomed Dr. Kristina Mitchell to the Kirkland-based health system’s pulmonary care team.
Mitchell brings clinical experience in pulmonary medicine, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions that affect adults.
She has been practicing for nine years, educating patients throughout their health journeys. Prior to joining EvergreenHealth, Mitchell served as a pulmonary care physician at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where she cared for a diverse patient base living with a wide variety of lung diseases. She completed her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Washington in 2016, where she cared for hundreds of critically ill patients from Seattle and surrounding regions.
“Dr. Mitchell’s experience and philosophy of care are a welcome addition to EvergreenHealth Pulmonary Care and we are honored to welcome her to the team,” said Bob Malte, EvergreenHealth CEO, in a press release. “Her experience in critical medicine and ability to treat a broad range of illnesses will greatly benefit our patients receiving diagnostic and rehabilitative pulmonary services.”
Mitchell’s relationship-based philosophy of care is built around her mission to provide tailored treatment to meet the specific goals of each individual patient — not a one-size-fits-all model, the release states. She is dedicated to maintaining her skills and industry knowledge to provide the highest level of care to her patients, bringing passion and commitment to EvergreenHealth’s team of pulmonary care specialists.
