Seattle Beagle Rescue, a registered 501 (c) (3) charity, will host a wine fundraising event on Saturday, March 3, at Northwest Wine Cellars in Kirkland from 1 to 5 p.m.
Funds raised through the admission fees and sales of Seattle Beagle Rescue’s custom labeled wine will support the care of abandoned and surrendered dogs. All ages are welcome, and bringing dogs is encouraged.
The admission fee per person is $20 until March 3. After that, it will be $25.
Tickets can be purchased online and include five wine tastings, handmade cheese and chocolate truffles. Parking is free.
A variety of award-winning wines will be available. The event will also include two Seattle Beagle Rescue custom labeled wines: Baying Beagle Blanc ($16), a 2016 chardonnay, and Rescue Red, a 2013 red blend ($19).
The wine labels will showcase pictures of beagles chosen through the 2018 Custom Label Wine Contest.
Northwest Wine Cellars will donate $15 of the admission fee to Seattle Beagle Rescue, as well as $5 for each Seattle Beagle Rescue custom labeled wine sold. Besides Northwest Wine Cellars, this year’s event will also include Beecher’s and Chocolati Cafe.
