Northwest University (NU) got 22 points from Tomas Ogbaslassie as the Eagles pulled away late in the game for a 79-64 win over Evergreen in a non-conference contest on Thursday.

Nemanja Grujicic posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for NU (3-2). Dak Shagren, playing his first game in six weeks, scored 15 points. The Eagles outrebounded Evergreen 41-22 including 14 offensive rebounds and NU shot 55 percent for the game and an impressive 68 percent in the first half (19-28).

Kortney Darby led Evergreen (0-2) with 20 points hitting nine-of-17 shots for 53 percent shooting. Alix Hernandez scored 11 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out four assists while teammate Jordan Dam contributed nine points for the Geoducks. Evergreen shot 44 percent for the game (25-57).
