A Kirkland American Little League team won the Washington State District 9 Jackson Roos Memorial tournament recently in Redmond.

The Kirkland American Little League Yankees beat the Redmond North Little League Red Sox by a score of 2-1 in the semi-final game, and the Kirkland American Little League Yankees defeated the Snoqualmie Valley North Little League Nationals by a score of 14-4 in the championship game.

The Kirkland players are: I-Ly Hsue, Alex Levine, Spencer Colbert, Alec Moen, Hunter Brown, Wei-Ly Hsue, Kyle Uber, Ben Root, Lindsay Tsujikawa, Emily Tsujikawa and Ben Chorlton.
