March 14

Power of attorney: At 9:38 a.m. in the 10900 block of 80th Place Northeast, a caller reported that someone tried to use a power of attorney to access their credit card at the Bothell branch of US Bank. The suspect said they had power of attorney and had it since the victim was deathly sick in the hospital in 2015. She was trying to link the victim’s credit card to her iPhone so she could make purchases for the victim. No loss was reported. The bank manager alerted the victim to the possible fraud.

Unpaid gas: At 12:33 p.m. in the 13200 block of 100th Avenue Northeast, a driver drove off without paying for their gas purchase, valued at $44.35. The woman later said she was on her way to pay for the gas.

Nothing taken: At 2:05 p.m. in the 7000 block of Northeast 137th Street, someone broke into a home, and items were moved. But nothing appeared to be missing.

March 15

Eye drop threats: At 12:28 p.m. in the 10000 block of Northeast 123rd Street, a person reported that someone left a note on their windshield. The eight-page note details how to kill people with overdosing on eye drops and states that women are usually the killers. The caller was not threatened by the note, she said, and just wanted to speak with police to see if similar notes had been left on other cars.

March 20

Gym harassment: At 5:57 p.m. in the 14100 block of Juanita Drive Northeast, a person using an athletic facility on Finn Hill reported that a trainer there accosted her as she was leaving the gym over her parking job. They screamed at her and told her she did a horrible job, got in her face and was verbally aggressive, she said. They swung their keys around in her face and continued to yell in front of other customers.
