The Lake Washington High School baseball team began the regular season with an 8-0 win against Bellevue on Friday.
Kangs starting pitcher Connor Johnson went six innings, giving up just two hits and striking out three to earn the win.
Austin Lively was 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBI, while teammates Kevin Nakahara and Jake Steele also picked up RBI during the contest. Matt Scheffler was 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
