Keeping it classy: At 12:14 a.m. in the 11600 block of 124th Avenue Northeast, two men got into a verbal altercation. One of the men claimed the other threw a bottle and hit him on the head. The other man claimed he was actually the victim and was hit on the head. This went down in a Taco Bell parking lot.
Aug. 2
Celebrating: At 12:38 a.m. in the 13100 block of Northeast 132nd Street, two men were throwing items around the common area at Friends of Youth. They were celebrating one of the men’s last days at the facility.
Watching you: At 9:56 a.m. in the 11100 block of Northeast 141st Place, a resident told their neighbor across the street they were going to point a camera at their home. The resident being watched runs an Airbnb out of their home.
Aug. 3
Blue money: At 10:33 a.m. in the 12000 block of Northeast 144th Place, a victim’s sister accepted a fake $100 bill by accident while managing a garage sale. The money wasn’t even a real bill or real looking at all. It was blue. It looked like toy money. The sister will be more careful next time.
Boat party: At 8:44 p.m. in the 10th block of Kirkland Avenue, there was a boat with people drinking on it while docked at the harbor. The harbor master tried to approach the drinking folks. But three of the group of nine were giving the harbor master a hard time. The harbor master went home.
Giving out free money: At 1:03 p.m. in the 500 block of 6th Avenue, a woman was contacted by someone impersonating her cousin. They said Facebook was giving back to community members by distributing large sums of money. The process began when gift cards were bought and transmitted to a supposed Facebook employee. About $700 in gift cards were transmitted via photos of the cards.

This is why we can’t have nice things: At 11:08 a.m. in the 500 block of 7th Avenue, a man’s Mercedes Benz was stolen from the front of his home overnight. His son accidentally left the keys inside the car. The doors were most likely left unlocked too.
