Volunteers from the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Redmond Kirkland will be available outside the Starbucks in Kirkland at Lake Street and Park Lane from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. If you want to learn more about Relay For Life, officials will be there to answer all your questions. This is a great time to sign up your team or join an existing team for the 2010 Relay, which takes place June 19-20, at Redmond High School.

If you are a cancer survivor, stop by and get your name on the list for recognition at the event. The new 2010 Survivor calendar filled with inspiring stories and pictures will also be available, as well as memorial luminaries to make in honor of someone you know who has had cancer. Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
