The win at Lee Johnson field on June 15 capped off an undefeated 20-0 season for the Kirkland American Coast Indians baseball team.

The Indians beat the Kirkland National AAA Champion, the Giants, 2-0 in an edge-of-your-seat defensive game.

“The championship Indians players all contributed key roles during their season to be so successful,” said manager Andy Allred.

The members of the Indians team are: Joe Scheffler, Justin Schaaf, Drew Allred, Jaedan Cubias, KJ Unzelman, Brandt Godbey, Bailey Black, Marko Morrison, Jacob Martin, Kristopher Buenting, Matthew Blaskovich and Colin Farmer. Team coaches also include Peter Schaaf, Woody Allred and Neal Black.

The roster for the National League champion Giants includes: Kodee Chiles, Trenton Gedney, Caden Hough, Ryan Klundt, Xavien Stansberry, Kasen Gedney, Zubin Gupta, Sahir Karmali, Sam Herold, Jackson Byrne and Nick Taylor. The manager for the Giants was Mark Taylor with coaches Tom Burn and Jeff Harold.
