I want to thank all the special people in Kirkland who made the dog park happen and clarify something. I was quoted in the Reporter when I was talking to the city council, where I thanked Jean Guth (President of KDOG) for all her hard work, and since she had started this process her dog Jasper had since passed, but she kept on. I recommended we name the park “Jaspers Park” – that was not my idea. That was the brainstorm of Amy Introligator, who has also worked so very hard on this project. I do not want to take credit for something that was not my idea. I want to thank everyone who helped make the dog park possible, you know who you are. Kirkland will now have their very own dog park.
