Community brief: Girls Scouts seek volunteers

Girls in Kirkland are active in a number of activities, and one of the most popular is enjoying the enrichment opportunities that Girl Scouting offers. These girls are looking for a few new leaders in their community to help build their courage, confidence and character. Currently, we have more Kirkland girls interested than we have adult volunteers to guide them. If you have 10 hours a month and enjoy working with youth and learning new skills, please contact Louise Pathe at KirklandGSVolunteer@pathe.info. Share a little of your “women power” with the future leaders of America. No prior Girl Scout experience required, but enthusiasm is a must. All necessary training is provided along with ideas, resources and support through Girl Scouts of Western Washington.
