It has been an honor to have been a candidate for Kirkland City Council. I am proud of our dedicated team of supporters and volunteers. With their help we were able to knock on nearly every door in every neighborhood in Kirkland. We defined some important issues: responsible development, open government, fair taxation, and fiscal responsibility. It has been an honor and a privilege to talk with thousands of citizens from all parts of town, and listen to their concerns. I wish the new Council success in dealing with the challenges of annexation and maintaining essential services in a difficult time of budget deficits and reduced revenues. I intend to stay engaged and work hard for the citizens and future of Kirkland.
