Current national and world champion jump-rope team Hot Dog USA will display their skill May 9 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Kamiakin JHS Gymnasium.
The team’s performances will feature single and double-dutch freestyle and speed jumping techniques that combine rope jumping skills with gymnastics. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the event is free of charge, though donations are gladly accepted.
Started at Helen Keller Elementary School in Juanita in 1980, Hot Dog USA has performed in over half of the states in the U.S., as well as throughout Ecuador, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Japan, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Belgium.
