The Intentionalist small business advocacy group has partnered with Visit Seattle to encourage the community to try minority-owned businesses in King County by offering to pick up the tab.
For the next several weeks, the Intentionalist is opening $400 tabs at select businesses so folks can discover and enjoy new eats and drinks in communities beyond Seattle.
This weekend, from August 6-8, three minority-owned Renton businesses are being featured.
Boon Boona Coffee at 724 S 3rd St, which offers unique East African coffee beans and styles, Jazzy’s Antojitos & Gelatinas at 3219 NE Sunset Blvd, which specializes in sweet and spicy mexican treats and beverages like mangonadas, and Big Island Poke at 235 Rainier Ave S, which serves delicious Hawaiian Poke.
To enjoy a treat on their tab, just let the cashier know you’d like to put it on the Visit Seattle x Intentionalist Tab.
Businesses featured on future weekends will be announced throughout the month.
