The Kirkland Arts Center will host a reception for the opening of All Nine Legs from 6-8:30 p.m. on Jan. 17.
All Nine Legs brings together seven artists from around the country, over several generations and across diverse media. These painters, sculptors, writers and composers first met in snow-covered Wyoming and found, as they watched the world turn white through the windows, that they all shared an interest in storytelling. In their own way, each artist tells a story that becomes part of a larger narrative for how we all cross paths, spend time together, and time apart—but are all, as we are telling our own tales, also telling part of a much grander story.
The exhibit will continue at the Kirkland Arts Center through March 15. The opening is free to the public.
