Award-winning journalist and author Maureen Francisco will host an intimate discussion with high-profile immigrants who have achieved their American Dream at the launch party for her new book, “It Takes Moxie: Off the Boat, Or Out of College, To Making It Your Way In America.”

The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Heathman Hotel, 220 Kirkland Ave.  Special Guests include Dr. Connie Mariano (health/author), among others.
