Kirkland Arts Commission seeks grant applications

The Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission seeks innovative and creative ideas that showcase Kirkland’s arts, culture, and heritage. Artists and arts organizations who have a unique proposal that promotes performance art, literary art, and other artistic ventures can apply for funding available through the Commission.

The Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission seeks innovative and creative ideas that showcase Kirkland’s arts, culture, and heritage. Artists and arts organizations who have a unique proposal that promotes performance art, literary art, and other artistic ventures can apply for funding available through the Commission.

Proposals are due by 4 p.m. on Oct. 13. The Commission has a total of $1,500 – $2,500 available in funding. Proposed activities must occur within Kirkland city limits and occur before Dec. 15.

The grant application form is available on the Cultural Arts Commission webpage by searching at www.kirklandwa.gov and by contacting Philly Hoshko at phoshko@kirklandwa.gov  or 425-587-3013.

The Commission will consider all proposals and make determinations at its meeting from 4-6 p.m. on  Oct. 15 to be held at Kirkland City Hall, 123 5th Ave., Rose Hill Room.
