Between Wednesday, April 30, and Tuesday, May 6, the Kirkland Police Department reported 268 traffic violations, 18 car accidents, 17 alarm calls, 16 noise complaints, 15 thefts, 13 vehicle prowls, 10 DUI, 10 domestic violence incidents and nine assaults. At least 50 people were arrested.

Wednesday, April 30

11:40 p.m.: Two local men were arrested for assault at a tavern on the 11800 block of 98th Ave. N.E. after a shoving match inside the men’s restrooms turned violent. The men were booked at the city jail where they were released on their own recognizance.

Saturday, May 3

6:33 a.m.: After receiving several early-morning reports of naked male seen in the downtown area, police arrested a naked Redmond man for indecent exposure on the 100 block of Slater St. S. He was charged with a felony based on previous convictions of indecent exposure.

Sunday, May 4

6:55 p.m.: A Lynwood man was reportedly struck with a glass bottle in an altercation on the 12800 block of 85th St. The alleged assailant threatened to strike again when the victim drew a pistol in his defense.
