On Tuesday, April 26 in an away game against the Patriots, Juanita won 13-3. The five inning game featured an eight run third for the Lady Rebels who totaled 14 hits and two errors overall. Rachel O’Neill was 2-2 at the plate with two runs and an RBI, along with a home run, while Cami Pettengill was 2-3 at the plate, two runs, three RBI and a home run of her own.

On Thursday, April 28, the Rebels hosted Lake Washington, winning 15-5.

Juanita opened the match with a huge 10 run first inning, while keeping the Lake Washington batters to just two runs. The teams followed up in the third with two runs for Juanita and three for the Kangs. Juanita ended with 20 hits and two errors, while Lake Washington had eight hits and three errors.

For the Kangs, Bethany Bacon was 2-3, with two RBI and a home run, while Whitney Dunlap recorded a 1-2, two runs and a home run game.

On the Juanita side, Dani Faist was 4-5, with three runs and four RBI, Lexy Faist was 3-3, with two runs, and three RBI. Katie Kent was 2-3 with one run and O’Neill was 2-2 with a run of her own.

Bellevue blanks Lake Washington

The Bellevue Wolverines fastpitch team cruised past Lake Washington on Tuesday, April 26, winning with a 12-0 final score. Bellevue got up early, opening with a 1-0 lead in the first, followed by eight in the next three rounds. They ended the match with 16 hits while Lake Washington had two hits and one error.

Lake Washington is 6-6 in league play and 6-12 overall.
