Four women’s care specialists join EvergreenHealth

The specialists will join Women’s Specialty Care, OB/GYN Care and Eastside Maternal Fetal Medicine.

EvergreenHealth recently welcomed four new providers specializing in women’s care to several of its practices, to include Women’s Specialty Care, OB/GYN Care and Eastside Maternal Fetal Medicine.

“We are pleased to have these experienced specialists join our skilled group of health care providers and physicians,” said Mark Freeborn, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Evergreen.

Natividad “Nati” Chavez, ARNP, joined Women’s Specialty Care as a board certified women’s health nurse practitioner. Chavez has been practicing since 2013 and specializes in providing a full range of gynecology care as well as birth control management. Chavez treats patients with a range of conditions such as menstrual pain, urinary tract infections and abnormal pap smears.

Nicole Pine, MSPA, PA-C, began her practice as a physician’s assistant working in orthopedics. She also has experience working as an emergency medical technician and paramedic. Pine will also be joining the Women’s Specialty Care practice at EvergreenHealth to provide care and consultations on birth control, pelvic pain and abnormal uterine bleeding. Pine also performs in-clinic procedures such as IUD insertion, I&D and biopsies, in addition to performing first-assist duties in the operating room. Outside of work, Pine enjoys weight lifting, hiking, cooking and scuba diving.

New to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Care practice is Jessica Bolden, ARNP, MSN, who has been a family nurse practitioner since 2021. For the past six years, Bolden practiced as a registered nurse in OB/GYN settings where she cared for low and high risk obstetrical and gynecological patients. Bolden provides a full range of gynecology, pregnancy and non-delivery birth services and minimally invasive office procedures and postpartum care. She has taught numerous breastfeeding classes since 2012, and enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two sons in her free time.

Sushma Amara, MD, joins the Eastside Maternal Fetal Medicine practice at EvergreenHealth. Amara’s practice is focused on caring for patients with complicated pregnancies, and her areas of interest include prenatal ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, fetal echo, medical complications of pregnancy and preterm birth. Outside of work, Amara likes exploring the Seattle Japanese Garden and meeting friends at local craft breweries.

“Their demonstrated knowledge of women’s health and passion for providing high-quality care to all patients, at every stage of life, will serve as a valuable resource to our community,” said Freeborn.
