We have all seen what a small group of no-growth advocates did over the last four years with a council that refused to listen to most of its constituents. With the election of three new council persons by a margin of over 60 percent, along with two of the remaining council, we will now see quality redevelopment of Parkplace, which when completed will help revitalize downtown. As the owner of Woods Lakeshore Pharmacy for over 30 years, I was one of the lucky businesses in Kirkland when our community supported a healthy growth and redevelopment.
