Sammamish had a home-court advantage, but Juanita had the power. The Rebels advanced through the KingCo tournament Friday with a big 3-0 victory against the Totems at Sammamish High School.

The Totems came out with fire during the first game, pushing the Rebels to the limit in a 25-20 game. But from there it was all Juanita as they swept the final two games and chopped up the Totems 25-10 and 25-13.

The Rebels were led by Alona Chenis, who had 24 assists and five aces, along with Brittany Webster, finished with seven kills, 10 digs and four aces. Ashley Manzoni led the defense with 15 digs.
