The Lake Washington High School girls basketball team defeated Interlake, 62-48, on Friday in Kirkland.

The Kangs showed consistency during the game, taking a two points lead after one quarter of play, and then extending the lead by six in the second, two in the third and four more in the fourth quarter.

Georgia Romine-Black led the Kangs with 16 points, while Hannah Brender had 11.
