The Lake Washington High School baseball team doubled up Liberty, 10-5, on Monday in Renton.
The Kangs were led by starting pitcher Nick Ludwig, who threw five and two thirds innings, giving up five hits and one earned run. Ludwig struck out five and walked four en route to picking up the win.
Lake Washington slowly built its 10-0 lead through the first six innings. Three players finished with two RBI each during the game: Kevin Nakahara, Matt Scheffler, and Jake Wikel. Connor Johnson and Jared Menssen also had an RBI each.
Lake Washington and Liberty will hook up again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Kirkland.
