Facing the top team in the KingCo conference, the Juanita volleyball team lost three games to Mount Si last week.

The Rebels fell 25-17, 25-17 and 25-22 to Mount Si during the meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 12.

In a conference game against Liberty, the Rebels beat the Patriots 3-0 on Monday, Oct. 17. The scores were 25-20, 25-22 and 25-18.

During the win, Jade Finau had two kills and 22 assists, while Nicole Kalda had 3.5 blocks and Dana Michels added 19 kills and four aces.

Wednesday, the Rebels lost to Interlake 3-1. After winning the first game 25-18, the team from Kirkland fell in a close second game 27-25, before Interlake opened the gap with a 25-19 win in game three and 25-21 in game four.

Lake Washington beat Liberty on Oct. 12 in four games. The Kangs took the win with a 3-1 final score (22-25, 25-23, 25-21).

Monday, Oct. 17 the Kangs lost to Bellevue 3-1. The Kangs won game one 25-14, but fell 25-22, 30-28 and 26-24 in the final three games.

The Kangs beat Sammamish Wednesday in a three game match. Lake Washington won 25-12, 25-9 and 25-4 for the league win.

Jess Lund had five kills, as did Maddie Lind and Dana Hasert.

The Rebels and Lake Washington will face off in the final game of the regular season on Monday, Oct. 24 at Lake Washington starting at 7 p.m. The teams will then begin the KingCo tournament on Thursday, Oct. 27 at Sammamish High School.
