Between Dec. 1-11, there were 533 traffic incidents, 42 traffic accidents, seven DUIs, 47 general traffic incidents, 47 alarm calls, 18 abandoned vehicles, four burglaries, 14 incidents of fraud, 21 civil incidents, seven cases of harassment, 34 thefts, 32 vehicle prowls, nine vehicle thefts, 33 warrants served, 11 noise complaints, three animal calls, 19 incidents of domestic violence, seven incidents of malicious mischief, 11 disturbances, two trespassing incidents, three assaults, 12 hit and run incidents and 62 incidents involving at least one arrest.

Dec. 11

Assault: 9:56 p.m., 12100 block of NE 106th Pl. A 39-year-old woman kicked her 35-year-old husband several times and continued kicking him while he was trying to separate himself from her. She was arrested for fourth degree assault.

Dec. 10

DUI: 1:33 a.m., 9800 block of NE 116th St. A police officer pulled over a 34-year-old man due to his involvement in a separate police investigation as well as lane travel violations. He showed signs of intoxication and performed poorly on a field sobriety test. His blood alcohol percentage was .121 and .103. He was booked into the Kirkland Jail for a prior DUI offense in 2005.

Dec. 9

Theft: 4:35 p.m., 10800 block of 104th Ave NE. A 27-year-old man reported his four Seahawks tickets had been stolen, only to be arrested when the police discovered an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Bellevue for driving with a license suspended.

Warrant: 2:45 p.m., 11700 block of NE 188th St. A 58-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody per judges orders for DUI charges.

Malicious mischief: 1:10 a.m., 13500 block of 129th Pl NE. A 40-year-old woman was arrested after she damaged her 48-year-old boyfriend’s windshield.

Dec. 7

Warrant: 3:50 p.m., 8600 block of 120th Ave NE. A 33-year-old man was arrested for obstructing a 45-year-old male.

Dec. 6

Hit and run: 2:26 p.m., 12500 block of NE 144th St. A 60-year-old man reported his vehicle damaged in a parking lot. Video surveillance showed a light colored Toyota Forerunner had backed out of its parking spot and struck the rear-end of the victim’s vehicle. A 55-year-old man was later determined to be the driver of the suspect vehicle. He was booked and then released.

Dec. 5

Theft: 8:21 p.m., 8600 block of 120th Ave NE. A 35-year-old man was caught by loss prevention at Costco concealing a $177 bottle of 17-year-old scotch in a $45 champagne box. He provided a written statement to police describing the theft as a “poor decision.” He was released and cited through investigation.

Theft: 1 p.m., 8600 block of 120th Ave. A 20-year-old man was arrested for theft after he fled Costco with a digital camera. Police later caught him. He was booked, cited and then released.

Dec. 4

Assault: 9:40 p.m., 900 block of NE 135th Pl. During an interview with a woman, Child Protective Services workers discovered there was an unreported domestic violence incident from the night prior between a 37-year-old man involving her 11-year-old son. The man was arrested for third degree malicious mischief and fourth degree assault.

Dec. 3

Felony warrant: 12:50 a.m., 14100 block of 83rd Pl NE. During a Child Protective Services check on an 11-year-old child, they discovered a 41-year-old man with an outstanding felony warrant who was later arrested by officers.

Dec. 2

Vehicle prowl: 6:30 a.m., 10800 block of NE 112th St. A 67-year-old former law enforcement officer observed a 42-year-old man holding a flashlight and leaning in to the driver’s door of his neighbor’s vehicle. The former officer had another neighbor report it to police while he followed the suspect on foot. The vehicle’s owner later told police money had been taken from his vehicle. The suspect was arrested, booked, and then released.

Assault: 1:15 a.m., 14000 block of 89th Ave NE. A 30-year-old man got high on drugs and then struck his 63-year-old mother three times before stealing things inside her home and fleeing. He was arrested by police and transported to Evergreen Hospital. The victim did not need medical attention.

Nov. 30

Assault: 10:15 p.m., 12000 block of 120th PL NE. A woman reported hearing another woman yelling for help in a motel parking lot. When police arrived they located a 19-year-old with her 23-year-old husband, who claimed to be “comforting” her. The officers later determined the husband had grabbed his wife by the hair and pulled her to the ground, causing her to fracture her femur. The husband, who is homeless according to police, was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for second degree assault.

Nov. 29

Protection order: 3:55 p.m., 13000 block of 102nd Ln NE. A 44-year-old man was arrested for violating a no contact order with a 23-year-old woman after they were found together in an acquaintance’s condo. The woman was also arrested for her outstanding warrant out of Seattle and taken to King County Jail.

Nov. 28

Harassment: 6:18 p.m., 14100 block of 104th Pl NE. A 28-year-old man who suffers from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ASL) threatened to kill his female roommate and her daughter. The woman and her daughter reported the statements to police, who later booked the suspect into the King County Jail for domestic violence.
