The Juanita High School boys basketball team had a tough time matching Bellevue’s scoring output Friday night, losing 80-53 in Bellevue.
Juanita struggled to find its offense during the first quarter, scoring just nine points. The Rebels would find more of a grove during the second quarter but could not keep pace with the Wolverines as they fell behind 40-28 by halftime.
The second half was more of the same as the Wolverines ran away with the game by nearly doubling up Juanita 21-11 during the final eight minutes of play.
The Rebels were led by Connor Andrews with 16 points and Dylan Moctezuma with 10.
