The Lake Washington girls tennis team shutout Mount Si 7-0 Wednesday, only allowing five points during singles action.
Playing No. 1 singles, Jess Lund blanked the ‘Cats Trina Eck in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. At No. 2 singles, Jelena Aleksor also won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 against Sierra Morin. Lake Washington’s Joyce Lin earned a victory playing No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-1, while Amanda Levine won No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-0, against Cheyenne Dixon.
In doubles action, Chloe Nash and Taylor Lipking teamed up for a 6-2, 6-0 victory, while Kang teammates Kim Koshman and Mary Nelson earned a 6-2, 6-4 win. Shada Shomali and Marissa Kirk teamed to round out the scoring with a 6-0, 6-2 victory for Lake Washington.
The team will host Liberty today at 3:45 p.m.
