Finn Hill resident Scott Galbraith pulled out of the three-way race for Kirkland City Council Position No. 6 on Tuesday citing time constraints.
Galbraith explained that he would be gone for portions of the next few months and had not planned for a primary as no other challengers had filed when he submitted his paperwork.
“I have some business obligations in Asia and it will require me to be out of the country during the next couple of months,” said Galbriath, who endorsed Asher for the position after meeting with him on Monday.
Galbraith said that he would consider running in the future when he isn’t so busy. He also said he is considering serving on a city committee.
