I found out today that the annexation has been voted on and approved by the Kirkland City Council. I am disappointed that the council has decided to ignore the “will” of the people through the voting process, thus making their own decision. Why did they even go to the expense of the election process if they could overturn “the will of the people?” Seems like money wasted that could be put to paying down the debt of the city.
