Kirkland police arrest three suspects after Totem Lake Subway robbery

Kirkland police arrested three male suspects in connection with the armed robbery of the Totem Lake Subway last evening.

Kirkland police arrested three male suspects in connection with the armed robbery of the Totem Lake Subway last evening.

Employees of the Subway store, located at 11613 124th Ave., alerted police of the robbery at around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Police say a male suspect entered the store with a handgun, demanded money from the cash drawer and then fled on foot across the street. Once at the AM/PM convenience store, he left in a vehicle with two other males.

Shortly after, police found the vehicle and the suspects at the nearby Fred Meyer parking lot and all three were taken into custody.

The Kirkland Police Department Investigations Unit is still investigating.
