The Lake Washington baseball team defeated the Totems Monday at Sammamish High School, 8-1.

The Kangs scored three in the first inning and added another in the third before the Totem offense showed life, scoring a run in the bottom of the fifth.

Lake Washington added a run in the sixth inning and put the game out of reach in the seventh with three more runs.

The Kangs were led by Nick Johnson, who pitched a complete game, and Theo Alexander, who hit a home run during the contest.
