HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab and Wellness has entered into the fight against hunger in the communities in which it serves.

Currently, there are over 400 offices nationwide recognizing this problem and doing their part.  HealthSource, a chiropractic franchise, has been ranked No. 1 in health services by “Entrepreneur Magazine” for five years in a row and ranked on the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest growing franchises for three years.

With their vast and growing numbers, they hope to be able to have a greater impact on bringing awareness to this issue.

According to the USDA, hunger remains a pervasive problem in the United States with more than 35 million Americans, including 12 million children, living on the brink of hunger. Children in over one-quarter million households experienced hunger in 2005.

For the month of November, HealthSource will offer their first day services to all new patients for the donation of canned food items. These items will then be brought to Hopelink to be given to the needy families. For more information on how you can join in this fight against hunger call Dr. Bill Weber and Dr. Michael Schultz at your local HealthSource office at (425) 827-0422.
