Hersman Serles Almond, PLLC, a full-service accounting and consulting firm, recently opened its doors in Kirkland. The firm invites the public to an open house from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 27 at 520 Kirkland Way, Suite 300.

Prior to starting Hersman Serles Almond, PLLC (HSA), founding Partners Victoria Serles, Cliff Hersman and Cordell Almond originally were partners with Hersman Serles PS, which was a regional CPA firm that serviced the Northwest. Hersman Serles PS was originally founded by Cliff, Victoria and Cordell joined him soon thereafter. The three later moved together over to BDO Seidman, LLP where they were partners for 8 years. They enjoyed their time with BDO, but felt it was time to transition back to being an independently owned and operated firm. HSA will still be connected with BDO by being a part of the BDO Alliance, which is a network of independent accounting, consulting and service firms that can use the global resources of BDO. The move will allow the firm to focus on its core strengths which includes serving closely held businesses and their owners, along with providing wealth and estate planning services for their clients.
