“This is a terrific opportunity to inform the Kirkland community of our high quality child care and our Life Essentials philosophy,” said Raman Thind, owner of the new academy. “We believe that it’s extremely important to foster bonds between not only between our educators and children, but between educators and parents, academies and the local community. We look forward to meeting new families and community members.”

The Kiddie Academy Music & More program is in partnership with Kindermusik and offers children a fun, active and engaging multi-sensory experience through music. It integrates physical, cognitive, social and emotional learning; uses a multi-sensory approach; promotes group learning; and introduces a variety of genres.

In addition to serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., the new Kiddie Academy offers nutritious wholesome meals and snacks, served family-style, web cams through the WatchMeGrow provider, several enrichment and language immersion programs and two age-appropriate playgrounds.

Kiddie Academy, founded in 1981, began with the idea to combine learning with child care, and made a commitment to be a leader in the industry. Kiddie Academy has developed a comprehensive education-based child care philosophy, called Life Essentials, for its academies.

The Kirkland location will utilize a branded, proprietary curriculum created to promote learning through play. According to Thind, the programs emphasize continuous, open communication between teachers and parents concerning each child’s development.
