After eight successful years in Kirkland, Eco Cartridge Store owner Vic Swan recently sold the business.

The new owner, Kirkland resident Jill Haverkamp, took over this month.

“It’s been fun building the business from scratch and providing a service to the community, but it’s time to retire,” said Swan. “I’m pleased that the store will be in good hands with Jill, who will also be running the store with her husband, Steve.”

Eco Cartridge Store was founded in 2005 when the concept of refilled and remanufactured ink cartridges for consumers was just starting to go mainstream. After considering franchise cartridge operations, Swan said he preferred to start his own store to offer more personalized service. The business grew steadily over the eight years and enjoys a wide consumer and business customer base.

“I’m really pleased to take over Eco Cartridge Store from Vic,” said Haverkamp. “The store is well respected in the community for its quality products and customer service. We were attracted in becoming the new owners of Eco Cartridge because we wanted to do our part in helping the planet while saving people money.”

The business is located at 11316 NE 124th St., Kirkland. For information, call (425) 820-3570.
