Kirkland-based Mortenson Construction recently hosted a fundraiser at The Garage in Seattle that raised more than $47,000.

More than 210 people attended the event, which also aimed to develop and foster subcontractor relationships in a causal and cause-worthy setting.

The event included live and silent auctions to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound.
