Mixed martial arts fighter and color commentator Frank Trigg is presenting informational seminars titled “The Truth About Testosterone Replacement Therapy” in Kirkland on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Trigg will be joined by Dr. Charles Arakaki, Chief Physician at Universal Men’s Clinic. Universal Men’s Clinic treats a variety of men’s health issues and offers testosterone replacement therapy.
Trigg has a health problem that many men don’t like to talk about – low testosterone. The seminar will spread awareness about the condition, also known as Low T or andropause, and the proper medical protocol and truths about testosterone replacement therapy. A simple blood test determines whether a man has a normal testosterone level.
The free Kirkland seminar will be held at Element 5 Fitness, located at 11626 Slater Ave. NE in Kirkland.
“I was having problems with mid-term memory, lots of arthritis, and Vioxx and Celebrex weren’t working anymore,” said Trigg. “Like a typical athlete, I thought it was from training too much and I just needed a little bit of a break. Two years later, I realized I had to go see somebody. I met with Dr. Arakaki at Universal Men’s Clinic and about 30 days later, it was a complete life-changer for me. My wife and my kids noticed a difference in a week, but after 30 days, I started feeling less pain from my arthritis, more joint mobility, my mid-term memory was coming back, and I was able to train like I’m supposed to train, twice a day every day, instead of training twice a day and taking three days off, and I still had energy to come home and play with my kids.”
Trigg has fought in the most prestigious fight promotions, including Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), PRIDE Fighting Championships, Rumble on the Rock, Icon Sport and World Fighting Alliance. He can be seen every Friday night on HDNet, calling fight action for MMA promotions. Trigg is a former co-host of MMAWeekly.com radio and TAGG radio.
The Olympic trials wrestling finalist and second-degree black belt in judo is a dedicated husband and father of four. Trigg says he gives back to the community through youth mentoring and motivational speaking.
