Cheryl Nail has been promoted to the Vice President of Nursing at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center. Nail formerly was the Chief Nursing Officer. Nail joined Evergreen in 2000 as a clinical nurse educator in the Family Maternity Center and was named Director of Nursing in 2005.

She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, class of 1992, and served 10 years active duty in the United States Army as a combat medic, LPN, RN and Assistant Head Nurse. Nail is originally from Chattanooga, Tenn.
