The Windermere Kirkland-Yarrow Bay office welcomes broker Lynn Sanborn back to their office which is located at 3933 Lake Washington Blvd NE. Sanborn returns to Windermere after a year with Sotheby’s Realty. Sanborn has been a highly respected real estate professional during the past 24 years, 19 of which were spent with Windermere. She says she chose to return to Windermere because of the 42-year-old company’s deep understanding of the real estate business and their commitment to giving back to the community.
“I’m very excited to be back at Windermere,” said Sanborn, “Everything in this company reflects the experience and wisdom that come from being in business for over four decades.”
Sanborn added that she is also happy to be back with a company that does so much to help those in need, “Giving back to the community is at the core of Windermere’s culture and I’m glad to be a part of that again.”
Sanborn’s vast professional achievements include being voted a 5-Star real estate agent by Seattle Magazine in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. She was also voted the Best of Kirkland Real Estate Agent in 2013 and 2014. Sanborn places great importance on continuing education and has earned both the Accredited Buyer’s Representative Designation and the Earth Advantage Broker “Green” Certification.
Sanborn has made it her priority to be an advocate for the homeless and currently serves on the KITH Board of Directors. She also donates a portion of every commission she earns towards the Windermere Foundation, which provides funding to support low-income and homeless families. Over the past 25 years, the Windermere Foundation has raised more than $26 million. In 2011, Sanborn received the Seattle King County REALTOR Community Service Award for her commitment to helping those in need.
