Council only wants like-minded people for advisory boards | Letter

For those you who apply for a position on an advisory board, don't be deceived with how important your ideas are. The Kirkland City Council only selects people who think like the council. If you have different ideas other than the council, you will not be selected.

If you are selected, you will become just another bobble head doll for the council making the positions unnecessary. Much of the time and money that goes into funding the advisory boards could be saved. We don’t need a board or commission only to ditto when the council already has decided what the council is looking for.
