Crosswalk was clearly marked | Letter

I live a block away from the accident that sadly took the life of Kyle Warnik last Tuesday.

Kyle was doing what so many of us do, walking his dog in the middle of the afternoon in the neighborhood.

What doesn’t make sense to anyone who lives in the neighborhood is how this could ever happen. Kyle was in a crosswalk clearly marked that included a stop sign and clearly marked crosswalks on every corner.

I completely disagree that this is a dangerous intersection. How could the city make stop signs and crosswalks more clear?

Kyle will be missed by many, most of all his family, friends and his dog.
