I do not support bus rapid transit on the Cross Kirkland Corridor.

There are many safety concerns with buses on the CKC:  It is near many parks and schools. It’s used by many school kids.

It connects neighborhoods and has a lot of pedestrian cross traffic.

I will oppose ST3 if it includes transit on the CKC.

I am also an avid walker. I belong to Volkswalking and I do meet up groups with other walkers and we use this trail. I also run the 12k’s of Xmas and do the Mother’s day 1/2 marathon and these both use the trail as well.

Please do not take this trail away from us and give it to Metro.
