Regarding the Leonid Milkin murder trial, I am a police officer and was reading articles about the case from different news sources. I found it interesting that some sources gave credit to the law enforcement detectives for finding the knife used in the murder, but in fact Leonid found the knife himself, thus he should be given the credit. The fact is Mr. Milkin assisted in solving his family’s murder and should be recognized. I am sure Mr. Milkin is just relieved the trial is over and justice served, but it is disappointing that some of the media outlets did not verify the facts about this case before sharing with the public.
