Ms. Kristin Terpstra believes it will be to her benefit if Finn Hill is annexed to Kirkland. With respect, I suggest Ms. Tempstra recall the old adage, “Marry in haste and repent at leisure.” If Finn Hill, North Juanita and Kingsgate should be annexed, what will the residents really get more of? They will get more taxes, fees and levies. They will get more infringement on property rights. They will get more bureaucracy. They will get rezoning to allow denser housing. And before the vote on annexation they will get plenty more promises from Kirkland politicians.

There are no pluses to annexation.
